Singing is creative and liberating
Re The exalting power and joy of choirs, Timson, Nov. 27
Congratulations to Judith Timson for her insightful column on the healthy, psychological and social benefits of choirs, of working hard with many others on a piece of challenging music to ultimately reach a point of nearperfect pitch and harmony.
Yes, it is both creative and liberating from the cares of the outside world, while leading to a performance that the rest of the world can enjoy.
As a member of an amazing choir of 120 diverse people, the Toronto Choristers, I can attest to the glory and passion of singing marvellous music. I hope others will try it. We are music. John Borovilos, Toronto
