One charged in fight over parking

A 37-year-old Brampton man is facing charges after a fight over a parking spot at a Walmart two days before Christmas sent an older man to hospital with injuries.

“A dispute over a parking spot” led to a fight, Peel Const. Sarah Patten said. A 51-year-old man was rushed to hospital by Peel Region paramedics after being stabbed during the attack. Richard Reid has been charged with assault, assault with a weapon and uttering threats.
