The market: QBs and plenty more

-

CFL free agency is set to begin at noon ET on Tuesday. Here’s a look at some of the top players expected to hit the market:

QUARTERBACKS

Mike Reilly: The 34-year-old led the CFL in passing yards (5,562) and was second in TD passes (30). Was the league’s outstanding player award in 2017.

Bo Levi Mitchell: The 28-yearold has been in four Grey Cups, winning twice, since becoming Calgary’s full-time starter in 2014. Trevor Harris: The 32-year-old threw a CFL-record six TD passes in East Division final win over Hamilton.

RECEIVERS

Derel Walker: A knee injury slowed the 27-year-old last season but Walker still managed 51 catches for 875 yards with Edmonton.

Greg Ellingson: The 30-year-old has played in five Grey Cup games in six years.

Bryan Burnham: The six-foottwo Burnham, now 27, has put together three straight 1,000yard campaigns in B.C.

RUNNING BACKS

William Powell: The 30-yearold has been a 1,000-yard rusher the past two seasons with the Redblacks.

OFFENSIVE LINE

SirVincent Rogers: The six-footfour, 319-pound native of Jasper, Texas, was a league all-star in 2015 and ‘18 and was named the top lineman in 2015.

Sukh Chungh: The 26-year-old was the second overall pick in the 2015 CFL draft and a West all-star in 2018.

DEFENSIVE LINEMEN

Willie Jefferson: A freakish athlete who had 10 sacks and two interception returns last year with Saskatchewan. At 28, just hitting his prime.

Micah Johnson: The 30-yearold had 14 sacks last season with Calgary.

LINEBACKERS

Larry Dean: The 29-year-old linebacker had 96 tackles and three sacks with Hamilton last year while being named the East Division’s top defensive player.

DEFENSIVE BACKS

Delvin Breaux: The 29-year-old only has one career interception because quarterbacks often avoid throwing his way.

Taylor Loffler: Became a starter at safety for Winnipeg as a rookie in 2016 and, at 26, is a three-time league all-star.

KICKER

Lirim Hajrullahu: The Western star handled all kicking chores last season with Hamilton, hitting on 46 of 54 field goals.
