Prolific D-man Duszak signs

The Maple Leafs signed college free-agent defenceman Joseph Duszak to a two-year future entry-level contract. The 21-yearold appeared in 37 games with Mercyhurst University this season and recorded 47 points (16 goals, 31 assists), which ranks third among NCAA skaters and leads all defencemen. Duszak is expected to join the Toronto Marlies later this week on an American Hockey League tryout basis.
