Toronto concerts announced Tuesday: Icelandish folk-pop ensemble Of Monsters and Men at the Budweiser Stage on Sept. 11; Canadian electro-popster Lights at the Danforth Music Hall on July 27; and indie rocker Angel Olsen at the Queen Elizabeth Theatre on Nov. 16.

The long-running show PBS cartoon Arthur this week hosted a same-sex wedding between beloved teacher Mr. Ratburn and Patrick, a chocolatie­r. The episode is titled “Mr. Ratburn & the Special Someone.”

Disney said Tuesday that it’s taking operationa­l control of the U.S. streaming service Hulu immediatel­y. Comcast, which owns a third of Hulu via its subsidiary NBC Universal, has agreed to sell its stake to Disney for at least $5.8 billion within five years.

This Is Us actress Mandy Moore, 35, will soon head to Nepal for a nine-day trek to climb Mount Everest’s base camp, according to People. She will make the journey with friend and Alpine guide Melissa Arnot, who describes herself as the “first American woman to ascend/descend Everest without oxygen.”

ABC’s fall schedule will include a reboot of the TV variety series Kids Say the Darndest Things, hosted by Tiffany Haddish. The network revealed Tuesday that it will also launch another spinoff of its comedy black-ish: mixed-ish, focusing on the preteen version of the mom that Tracee Ellis Ross plays on black-ish.
