Safety should come first over price. Black market cannabis is totally unregulated and has been found to contain pesticides, mould, talc powder, silica, asbestos and other harmful chemicals that should not be inhaled into our lungs.

As an alcohol consumer, I don't go into the back lane and buy a $2 bottle of wine. I pay more for it at the LCBO, but at least I know it has been tested and is safe. Cannabis users must learn the same lesson. James Wigmore, forensic toxicologist, Toronto
