Man recovers after hit and run
A man sustained non-lifethreatening injuries after being the victim of a hit and run in Mississauga on Thursday night, Peel police say. The call came in at around 9:30 p.m., police said on Twitter, reporting a collision near Shawson Drive and Dixie Road. The vehicle involved is believed to be a tractor trailer, according to police. The victim was initially taken to a trauma centre, but police later said he had suffered non-life-threatening injuries. The Major Collision Bureau will be investigating the hit and run. Anyone with dash cam footage of the incident is asked to contact police.
