Women are back in South Korea
Women’s golf returns in South Korea today with the opening round of the KLPGA Championship near Seoul. Golf — with a field of 150 but no fans on the course — joins baseball and soccer as pro sports that have restarted in the country. Meanwhile, the PGA Tour, expected to resume June 8 with the Colonial in Texas, announced golfers, caddies and key staff will be tested once a week for COVID-19, and everyone else at the course will have daily temperature checks.
