Virtual crowd plan considered in Spain

MADRID— Spanish soccer matches could have the look of a video game when play resumes next month. The league is contemplat­ing adding virtual crowds to the TV broadcasts of matches played before empty seats. Spanish league president Javier Tebas said it’s working on ways to give viewers the option of watching the unaltered feed from empty stadiums or an alternativ­e with virtual crowds superimpos­ed on the vacant stands.
