Canadian in hunt at Texas Open golf
THE COLONY, TEXAS— Maddie Szeryk of London, Ont., the coleader after the opening round, was tied for fourth heading into the final round of the 54-hole Texas Women’s Open. Szeryk was at three-under 139 and trailed leader Celine Boutier by seven shots at the $50,000 (U.S.) event, run by the Northern Texas PGA with no fans. The LPGA Tour hopes to resume July 23 in Ohio.
