F1 racing reporting omits Canadian achievement

Re Perez’s first F1 victory is one to remember, Dec. 7

No doubt Sergio Perez of Mexico had a stunning come-from-behind F1 victory at the Sakhir Grand Prix in Bahrain and deserves all accolades.

However, the article fails to mention that the Racing Point Team won two podium positions, Sergio Perez at No. 1 and Lance Stroll at No. 3.

Not only is Lance Stroll a Canadian, but the Racing Point Team is owned by his father, who is also a Canadian. Canada is back on the podium after a long drought, since the glory days of Jacques Villeneuve.
