Re Ford using pandemic to make rich even

Premier Doug Ford’s COVID-19 decision to shut small retail businesses in Toronto while leaving big box stores, shops and malls in neighbouri­ng jurisdicti­ons open seems ill thought out, at best.

At worst, we should look back with suspicion if, later next year, developers are snapping up bankrupt Toronto retail properties at bargain basement prices.
