Chicago White Sox lefty Carlos Rodon

tossed the second nohitter of the MLB season, blanking Cleveland 8-0. Rodon had a chance to pitch the first perfect game since 2012 but hit Cleveland’s Roberto Perez on the foot with one out in the ninth.

The American Hockey League

has postponed three Marlies games over the next week due to league COVID-19 protocols. The AHL did not elaborate on why the Marlies were entering league protocols. Leafs forward Nick Robertson, who was with the Marlies last week, has been added to the NHL’s protocol list.
