Are we licensing motorists to kill cyclists?

Re Driver acquitted in cyclist’s death, April 12

This foul decision is basically a licence to kill, and shows the sad truth of an older joke that, if you want to kill someone in Toronto, use a vehicle. You’re already in the getaway vehicle, and there won’t be charges, or any that really stick.
