Aussie punters dominate CFL draft

Jake Ford was the first of four Australian punters selected in the first round of the CFL global draft. Ford was taken No. 1 by B.C. The others were Joseph Zema (sixth to Montreal), Cody Grace (No. 7 to Calgary) and Joel Whitford (No. 8 to Hamilton). Steven Nielsen, a six-footeight, 307-pound offensive lineman from Denmark, went second to Edmonton. The Argos selected Tigie Sankoh, a defensive back from Britain, third.
