Car cooking

A park, campsite or parking lot — even your driveway — can become your hotmeal dining spot with the HitchFire Forge 15 hitch-mounted propane grill. The unit comes with two 7,500-BTU burners and 355 square inches (2,290 square centimetre­s) of cooking surface. The Forge 15’s articulati­ng swing-arm, which attaches to a standard two-inch hitch receiver, can pivot outward up to 180 degrees or detach completely from the arm to be set up elsewhere. The grill comes with twin foldout side tables that are stored inside the unit when not in use. There is also a cover for the unit. Peel and stick

Workman Publishing Co. produces a line of automotive-themed sticker books as part of its Peel + Discover line. “Cars and Things That Go” contains hundreds of reusable stickers of sports and racing cars of various shapes and sizes. There are brief descriptio­ns of each image underneath the sticker once it is peeled off the pages. Also available is a “Trucks” sticker book featuring an assortment of old and new pickups plus commercial/industrial workhorses. “Cars and Things That Go” sells for $13 (U.S.), while “Trucks” costs $7. Patent posters

If you’re looking for unique wall art for your home, Patent Earth sells copies of official automotive blueprints for engines, auto parts and body-design schematics. Examples include the Chrysler Slant Six and Hemi V-8 plus the over-head-valve engine invented by Henry Ford.
