Saving green space, limiting growth should be a priority
I agree with letter writer S.L. Baker of Stouffville that seeing all our farmland disappear from southern Ontario is indeed a scary proposition. Having to rely on other countries to provide food for us may not be an option in the future.
Why does our government bother to impose a carbon tax on us while at the same time endlessly paving over our countryside?
Unlimited growth is a slippery slope as far as the environment is concerned. I guess limiting such growth would just be too logical a move for our prime minister.
