Zalatoris named top rookie on PGA Tour

Will Zalatoris has been voted PGA Tour rookie of the year, the first player in 20 years to receive the award without being a full PGA Tour member. Zalatoris, 25, earned temporary membership in November by finishing sixth at the 2020 U.S. Open, part of the wraparound season, and adding two more top-10 finishes. He ended the season with eight top 10s, including a runner-up finish at the Masters.
