O’Toole’s ‘Take Canada Back’ slogan offensive to immigrants

Every evening when Conservative Leader Erin O’Toole appears on my TV screen and says, “Take Canada Back,” as an immigrant who has lived in Canada for 30 years, I feel revolted.

I feel he discounts all that I have done for Canada and that I have been a contributing member of society. He wants to take Canada back to the time when I wasn’t yet here and all that I have done wouldn’t count.

O’Toole wants to bring back a Canada that I wouldn’t recognize. His Canada does not include me or my family. For this, I will not vote for him or the Conservative party.
