Trudeau had our backs during pandemic; deserves our vote

-

In 2008, there was a severe recession that revealed the basic ideals of every Canadian political party.

Stephen Harper and the Conservatives were in power, and the Conservative ideology directed Harper to first save the large corporations to make sure the rich stayed rich. Remember the bailouts of General Motors and Chrysler? Ordinary people’s financial struggles came second, after the corporations.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and the Liberals are our government. And what a difference.

When Trudeau emerged from his residence each day, he told ordinary Canadians that he had our back — and he did. The common people came ahead of the corporations.

I don’t know about you, but I prefer the progressive ideology of helping the little guy first before rich corporate buddies.

Let’s avoid any regret or buyer’s remorse and vote for the party that has had our back through this pandemic and will continue to have our back after they are re-elected.
