Hamilton’s third-string quarterback, David Watford, picked up his second straight win on a rain-filled night as the TigerCats defeated the Redblacks 24-7 at Ottawa’s TD Place. The win allowed the Tiger-Cats, now 4-3, to take sole possession of first place in the East Division, while the 1-5 Redblacks dropped their 11th in a row at home since July 2019. Watford completed 15 of 25 passes for 115 yards and one touchdown. Former Ottawa all-star receiver Brad Sinopoli, who recently retired at age 33, was honoured at halftime.
