Not getting vaccinated is not a choice society can accord you

-

Re Letter, Anti-vaxxers must realize they are part of a larger society, Sept. 25

If someone does not want to take the vaccine based upon the argument that it’s their choice not to, perhaps this reasoning should be extended further.

If your choice of not getting vaccinated leads you to get COVID-19 and to infect others, why, as a society, should we then care and take care of you when you get sick, end up in an ICU, on a ventilator and pay for all the care you will receive?

Will you take the place of a stroke or heart attack patient because you choose based upon a false narrative that somehow you are shielded from a pandemic because it’s your choice?
