Cannabis edibles stolen from King West store

Toronto police have issued a public safety alert after a “large quantity” of cannabis edibles was stolen from a King West retailer.

The theft happened on Monday at 8:51 a.m., near King Street West and Spadina Avenue.

Investigat­ors said the cannabis products look like gummy bears or gummy candies and “may be harmful if ingested, especially to children.”
