Takei, Shatner join Fan Expo Canada
“Star Trek” alumni George Takei and William Shatner are to beam up to Fan Expo Canada later this month.
The annual pop-culture convention, which was postponed in August by COVID-19 restrictions, returns Oct. 22 to 24 with a limited edition at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre.
Attendees will need to show proof of vaccination and adhere to health and safety protocols.
The lineup includes Canadian cousins Robbie Amell of “The Flash” and Stephen Amell of “Arrow”; “Wynnona Earp” star
Melanie Scrofano and her “Earp” co-star Tim Rozon, also of “Schitt’s Creek” and “SurrealEstate”; “Doctor Who” star
Christopher Eccleston and
James Marsters, known as Spike on “Buffy the Vampire Slayer.”
