Larkin suspended one game for punch
Red Wings captain Dylan Larkin drew a one-game suspension for retaliating with a punch in the face after a hit from behind by Mathieu Joseph of the Lightning. Larkin, who was limited to 44 games last season after he was cross-checked in the neck, will sit out Saturday’s game against the Canucks. Said Lightning captain Steven Stamkos on Larkin: “Obviously he’s mad about, you know, the borderline hit there, but there’s different ways to go about it ... (that was) a sucker punch.”
