Electoral success should rest on these priorities

Re Letter, Ontario must vote Ford out, Oct. 12 W. E. B. Dubois, the great American educator, author and Afro-American activist, gave us the perfect litmus test and voting criteria for the next provincial elections when Doug Ford seeks a second mandate:

“We should measure the prosperity of a nation, not by the number of millionaires, but by the absence of poverty; the prevalence of health; the efficiency of public schools; and the number of people who can, and do, read worthwhile books.”
