Hospital executive shows leadership on transplant issue

Re Transplant centres facing ethical dilemma, Oct. 15 Kudos to UHN CEO, Kevin Smith, for once again displaying courage, humanity and intellect by introducing policy requiring transplant recipients to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19!

His initial direction for all UHN employees to be fully vaccinated or face dismissal led the way for other institutions to follow suit.

It’s promising to see a true leader stand up over the noise, ignorance and selfishness and implement positive, sensible controls.
