It is with profound sadness that the family of Frank Young announce his sudden passing on December 2, 2021.

Frank was born in Leeds, Yorkshire, England in 1932. Predecease­d by his parents, Florence and John, brother John and sister Diana. Loving husband of Joan, father of Robert (Cheryl), David (Pamela) and Cathy, grandfathe­r of Catherine (Mark), Nicole and Richard and greatgrand­father of Matias.

Frank was an Ontario Hydro employee for over 25 years, starting in the Toronto oЊce as an electrical inspector and Јnishing his career as an electrical supervisor in the Whitby/Oshawa inspection oЊce. He was a 50 Year Mason, a longstandi­ng member of two Masonic Lodges - John Ross Robertson, Toronto, where he served a term as Master, and became a Very Worshipful Sir with a Grand Lodge appointmen­t. After moving to Little Britain in 1994, he joined Fidelity Lodge, and was presently serving as Secretary. He was also a 32nd degree member of the Scottish Rite, Toronto Valley. Frank was also an active member of the Port Perry United Church, serving on several Committees ̫ Worship, Ministry and Personnel and Memorial. Frank has been proud to be the bell ringer for Sunday morning service for several years. He is known for his passionate dedication to Јtness walking in and around Port Perry, particular­ly in Canterbury Common, while listening to his favorite marching music. Frank has enjoyed serving on Canterbury's Governance Committee and participat­ing in the Men̯s Golf League. Funeral service will be held Friday, December 10, 2021 at Port Perry United Church at 11:00 a.m. Those who attend must pre-register, wear a mask and show proof of vaccinatio­n. The service will also be live-streamed through the Church website for those not in attendance. Following the service there will be a private family interment.
