Surgery shelves all-star Lillard

Trail Blazers all-star guard Damian Lillard had abdominal surgery to repair a core injury and won’t be re-evaluated for six weeks. Lillard has averaged 24 points and 7.3 assists in 29 games this season despite the injury, which first flared up during the Tokyo Olympics.
