Unlike his article, what (a veteran U.S. diplomat) says is always something unexpected, original and yet true. And that’s why the Kremlin appreciate­d Henry Kissinger’s “character out of Dostoevsky” remark about Putin.

I, personally, see in the great U.S. diplomat’s visiting Moscow a positive sign and it’s not rocket science why: Kissinger did so before in the ’70s when he pioneered the policy of détente with us.
