It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Margaret Lynne Browning (nee Cudlip), on Thursday, January 20, 2022, at Stratford General Hospital, at the age of 66.
Lynne was born and raised in Toronto, the daughter of the late GeoЇ Cudlip and Joan Rutter. She graduated from Ryerson University with a Bachelor Degree in Nursing and later earned her certiЈcation as a Enterostomal Therapist and Geriatric Nurse Specialist. After she married Alex in 1977, they lived in East York before moving to Scarborough, where they raised their four boys. Lynne worked for many years as a nurse, where she touched the lives of so many people and built lifelong friendships. For many years, Lynne, Alex, and their children spent their summers at Manitoulin Island, where she was famously known as "Aunt Lynne, the camp nurse". She loved and cared for everyone, on and oЇ the Island, at work and outside of work. Lynne and Alex moved to Stratford in 2019, where they both retired. She loved to quilt, travel, attend the theatre and enjoyed socializing with her friends and family. She loved life and lived it to the fullest. Lynne will be lovingly remembered by her husband Alex and their boys Ian, Joel (Stephanie), Jonathan (Minerva) and Sean. She was the big sister to Lee, Lesley (Ian) and Larry (Sally) and loving aunt to Rebecca, Rachel, Samuel (Nadine) and Maxine. Lynne will forever be present in our hearts and memories.
Due to the restrictions of COVID-19, a private service will be held at the James A. Rutherford Funeral Home in Stratford. A Celebration of Life will take place at a later date.
