ANOTHER ROUND

The second round of the Stanley Cup playoffs opens Tuesday night, when the Florida Panthers host the Tampa Bay Lightning (7 p.m., Sportsnet). They squared off last season as well, with the Lightning winning in six games en route to their second straight Stanley Cup. In the West, the top-seeded Colorado Avalanche will host Game 1 against the St. Louis Blues (9:30 p.m., Sportsnet/CBC). On Wednesday night, the Carolina Hurricanes open at home against the New York Rangers, while the Battle of Alberta will begin in Calgary.
