Roughriders suspend training

The Saskatchewan Roughriders became the latest CFL club to suspend training camp practices indefinitely, with contract talks between the league and players still stalled and no new negotiations scheduled. In Hamilton, Tiger-Cats players invited fans to Tim Hortons Field to “stand together in a show of solidarity to demand that Canadian Football League gets back to the table.” The league’s collective agreement expired on the weekend.
