PCs promise to ‘get it done’ and destroy the environment

The Ford government has promised to “get it done,” should it be re-elected. Major planned projects, costing tens of billions of dollars, include building Highway 413, the Bradford Bypass and a road to the Ring of Fire.

As Monday’s debate showed, protecting the environment and addressing climate change are not priorities.

Building highways will put more cars on the road, producing more heat-trapping greenhouse gases and polluting the air we breathe.

The Ford government plans fail to protect the environment and will harm human health.
