Three sayings that describe the Leafs’ recent loss

Leafs fans mourn Game 7 loss, May 15

I tried to think of a famous saying that best described the Leafs loss. Three came to mind:

The first came from Yoda. “Patience, you must have my young Padawan.” Yoda lived 900 years, so he could afford to be patient.

The second is the one likely favoured by Brendan Shanahan and Dubas: “If at first you don’t succeed, try, try and try again!”

My favourite is often attributed to Albert Einstein: “Insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results.” Michael Yaffe, Toronto
