Schreiner did win that debate, but we need better format

Green Party Leader Mike Schreiner was, indeed, the winner of the debate and stood head and shoulders above the other three leaders. I would vote for him, if it could possibly help in removing Doug Ford from office.

We truly do need a better debate format and moderators who are not afraid to assert themselves when things go off the rails. The committees who format and plan these debates really need to stop the free-for-alls, when everyone chimes in at once. And where is the fact-checker when you need one?

It would have been helpful to have a signal whenever a speaker told a lie or fudged facts. There were sooooo many of those moments coming from Ford’s remarks.

Fellow Ontarians, use your vote wisely!
