Problems at Pearson are an embarrassment

-

Time for excuses has run out. Airport delays must be fixed, May 21

Last Friday I returned from my first vacation since COVID started and it was wonderful until I landed at Toronto airport. The captain came on and told us we might be held on the plane as customs was very busy.

They actually let us off in groups of 50 starting almost immediately, but soon as I saw the customers hall I knew we were in for a long wait. The lineups were like being a Disney World — but with no magical ride at the end.

I felt sorry for people who were entering Canada for the first time and couldn’t understand all the confusion and lining up. Something has to be done to fix this problem. Adrienne Santangelo, Mississauga
