Jagger weighs in on Styles comparisons
Harry Styles doesn’t have the moves like Jagger — according to the man himself.
Rock legend Mick Jagger took issue with the comparison of himself to Styles, the pop singer-songwriter whose musical ascension with chart-topping hits is garnering elite comparisons. Styles’ third studio album, “Harry’s House,” dropped last week and is expected to be No. 1.
The 78-year-old Jagger, one of the founding members of the Rolling Stones, told the Sunday Times that while he enjoys Styles’s artistry, the comparisons of the two English musicians is far off.
“I mean, I used to wear a lot more eye makeup than him,” Jagger told the publication. “Come on, I was much more androgynous. He doesn’t have a voice like mine or move on stage like me; he just has a superficial resemblance to my younger self, which is fine — he can’t help that.”
