Watson on field amid allegations

FOOTBALL

-

Hours after two of the massage therapists accusing him of sexual misconduct gave graphic descriptions to a national TV audience of sessions they say scarred them, quarterback Deshaun Watson joined practice with the Cleveland Browns. The 26-year-old Watson, who signed a fully guaranteed $230-million (U.S.) contract in March after a trade from the Texans, worked out while the NFL moved closer to ending an independent investigation into whether he violated its personal-conduct policy, which could result in a suspension. Watson didn’t speak to reporters, but did present new teammate Anthony Walker Jr. with a Rolex for giving up uniform No. 4.
