South Korea continues to bring next-level concepts to our small screen. This week, it’s a LOL-filled comedy in which a woman (Kim Yoo-jung) steps into a machine that turns her into the titular meat product. Hijinks, of course, ensue.

“How does a well-known actor commit murder in front of an audience of 1,500 people and escape?” So wonders secretary of war Edwin Stanton (Tobias Menzies) — and the rest of us, given the truly weird circumstances around the murder of his friend, Abraham Lincoln (Hamish Linklater).

Andrea Riseborough and Domhnall Gleeson play a feisty finance gal and sensitive scientist who start with a one-night stand, but then keep pining for each other over the years. Based on reviews, it sounds more cautionary tale than cute coupling.

Mmmm, all the tans and bright pastels and crystal-blue pools and Ricky Martin make us want to go on a sunny vacation, stat. Kristen Wiig stars as Maxine Simmons, a social climber who will stop at nothing to wiggle her way into Palm Beach high society and a coveted membership at its most exclusive club.
