1. Them: The Scare

We may not have caught the first season of this horror anthology series (reviews were a bit mixed), but we’re eager to dive into the second season, which promises big-time terror. After playing a 1950s housewife in instalment No. 1, star Deborah Ayorinde returns for No. 2, this time as an LAPD cop who must tackle an especially horrifying case that may have supernatur­al ramificati­ons for her family.

2. The Asunta Case

The murder of 12-year-old Asunta Basterra is one of Spain’s most notorious true-crime stories, given the rabid speculatio­n about what would drive two parents to kill their own kid. 2019 saw the release of the inevitable Netflix docuseries about the case; now, it gets a dramatizat­ion as well. 3. Luxe Listings Toronto

Toronto’s real estate market is notoriousl­y ridiculous, making it the perfect setting for an over-the-top reality show. Here, a few high-rolling real estate agencies compete to get the hottest listings and rake in the most cash for their clients, selling mammoth properties featuring everything from wine cellars to waterfalls. 4. Thank You, Good Night: The Bon Jovi Story

“Livin’ on a Prayer.” “It’s My Life.” “You Give Love a Bad Name.” A few goofy kids from Jersey grew up to write some of the most beloved rock bangers of all time. As fellow Jersey boy Bruce Springstee­n says in this new four-part docuseries, “Jon’s choruses demand to be sung by 20,000 people in an arena.” Expect all the goss, from their wilder partying days to the heartbreak­ing Richie Sambora split.

5. We’re Here

The award-winning reality show gets an all new cast of marquee drag queens! Sasha Velour, Latrice Royale and Jaida Essence Hall will hit the road to visit queers and budding drag artists in the heartland who need a little pick-me-up, along with Canadian national treasure and “Canada’s Drag Race” inaugural winner Priyanka! This season promises to be especially hearttuggi­ng as the queens fight the homophobic drag bans leeching across the States. Friday on Crave

6. Goodbye Earth

How would you spend your last few weeks on Earth? In this Korean import, based on the Kotaro Isaka novel, there are only 200 days left before an asteroid obliterate­s the planet and citizens are dealing with their impending doom in many different ways. Some choose rioting. Some choose protest. Some choose vengeance. Some choose normalcy: teaching school, riding bikes, attending choir practice. And some choose love. Friday on Netflix

7. My Next Guest With David Letterman and John Mulaney

David Letterman fires up his Netflix interview show for a one-off chat with comedian of the moment John Mulaney. Filmed at Mulaney’s Chicago high school, the pair chat about being dads, addiction issues and the state of standup, along with Mulaney’s childhood penchant for parroting Dr. Ruth sex wisdom at his parents’ cocktail parties. Tuesday on Netflix

8. Shardlake

In the mood for a historical whodunit? Disney Plus has an expensive-looking adaptation of the bestsellin­g 16th-century murder-mystery series by C.J. Sansom, featuring Arthur Hughes as the ornery titular lawyer. Here, crafty Henry VIII adviser Thomas Cromwell (Sean Bean) sends Shardlake to a faraway monastery to investigat­e a commission­er’s slaying. Wednesday on Disney Plus
