PAY IT FORWARD

Keep the Maple Leafs together. Top five players, be men, step up, and kick back 10% of salary for player acquisition. Make the choice:

Money today or get name on

Stanley Cup forever.

(Don’t think they are willing to make that kind of sacrifice)

VOICE OF BALLARD

The Ghost of Harold Ballard. Say no more. JAMES BARRETT

PICKERING (We can only imagine what he’d have to say about this current iteration of the Leafs)

CHERRY BOMB

Besides Auston Matthews’ amazing accomplishments, the only thing I will miss about this hockey season is watching all those young and hopeful Leaf supporters who continue to show up, regardless of the weather, to cheer on their Leafs on the Maple Leaf Square jumbotron. Their energy is uplifting to seniors like myself. Such a shame their dreams are cut short every year. I don’t blame any of the players as they are trying their best. Time for a major management shake down. Hey, Leaf fans! Wouldn’t it be amazing next year if Don Cherry and Lou Lamoriello would co-pilot the Leaf plane. Guaranteed to have a lot of turbulence.

PERRY MARINUCCI

RICHMOND HILL (They are on the hunt for a new head coach now, it’s a start)

NDP NONSENSE

For the NDP to persist that the keffiyeh is simply a cultural symbol and not a political weapon defies belief and is an insult to people’s intelligence. I don’t see Dutchmen on wooden shoes or French with a beret on their head demanding to be in the legislature. If they can’t respect the decorum of the house, they shouldn’t be there. They need to grow up.

FRED WESSELIUS

GUELPH (The NDP prove daily their irrelevance and are well on the way to be back to third party status after next election)
