Therapy dog community info sessions coming up
Sessions in Yarmouth, Barrington and Digby planned
St. John Ambulance is on a mission to expand its St. John Therapy Dog Teams in South West Nova Scotia.
If you have a wonderful, kind, gentle and well-behaved dog that is at least one year old, and if you are interested in contributing to the quality of life of people in our communities, they want to talk to you about becoming a volunteer for the St. John Ambulance Dog Therapy Program.
General information sessions are planned at the following locations:
• Villa St. Joseph du Lac Board Room, Highway 1, Dayton on Wednesday, Nov. 21 from 7-8 p.m.
• Bayside Home in Barrington on Nov. 21 at 7 p.m.
• Seaside Centre at Tideview Terrace, 74 Pleasant Street in Digby on Thursday, Nov. 22 from 7-8 p.m. (Please enter through Prim House entrance.)
In the meantime, anyone having questions about this program may contract Brian Colli at 902742-1529 or Martha Cassidy at 902-742-7650.
