CORMIER,

MaCali El­iz­a­beth Marie – age 4, Yar­mouth, passed away sud­denly on Satur­day, Novem­ber 24, 2018 in Yar­mouth Re­gional Hos­pi­tal. Born Jan­uary 6, 2014, she was a daugh­ter of Jo­ce­lyn LeBlanc and Matthew Cormier, Yar­mouth. MaCali was a stu­dent in the pre-pri­mary pro­gram at Yar­mouth Cen­tral School. She loved school and couldn’t wait to go to the brand new school they were build­ing across the street. She had a pas­sion for swim­ming, camp­ing at El­len­wood Park, horse rid­ing, danc­ing and watch­ing YouTube videos, most of which she did with her cousin Pay­ton, whom she idol­ized. MaCali will be re­mem­bered as an awe­some big sis­ter to Tessa and Matthew Cormier. Most of all, MaCali will be re­mem­bered as a little girl who loved helping other peo­ple. Aside from her mom and dad and her brother and sis­ter, MaCali leaves be­hind ma­ter­nal grand­par­ents, Beth (Roland) Han­nem and Randy LeBlanc (Betty Har­ring­ton) as well as by pa­ter­nal grand­par­ents, Theresa (Neil) Muise. Also sur­viv­ing are ma­ter­nal great grand­par­ents, Ge­orge and Mary Hamil­ton and

Peter LeBlanc; aunts, Laura Fevens (Troy Sloan), Christina Fevens, Al­li­son LeBlanc, Jessica Cormier,

Am­ber Cormier, Katie Muise and an un­cle, Gerard (Veron­ica) Muise, as well as lots and lots of great-aunts, great-un­cles and cousins. She was pre­de­ceased by her pa­ter­nal grand­par­ents, Harold and Carol Ryan, Jules and Ce­leste Muise and her ma­ter­nal great grand­mother, Ber­nice LeBlanc. Ar­range­ments were en­trusted to the care and di­rec­tion of H. M. Huskil­son’s Fu­neral Home, 29 Al­bert Street, Yar­mouth. Visi­ta­tion took place from 7-9 p.m. Wed­nes­day, with prayers at 8 p.m., at the Yar­mouth Wes­leyan Church, Ha­ley Rd., Yar­mouth, where the fu­neral was also held at 11 a.m., Fri­day, Novem­ber 30, Fa­ther Henry Smole­naars of­fi­ci­ated. In­ter­ment fol­lowed in Our Lady of Cal­vary Ceme­tery, Yar­mouth. Memo­rial dona­tions may be made to a trust fund estab­lished for MaCali’s brother and sis­ter, Tessa and Matthew, and are be­ing ac­cepted at any branch of the RBC in At­lantic Canada un­til De­cem­ber 28, or at any Huskil­son’s Fu­neral Home lo­ca­tion (Yar­mouth, Bar­ring­ton or Shel­burne).
