Rebels host annual memorial basketball classic

There was non-stop action on the court at the 10th annual Phil Callan Memorial Sr. High Basketball Classic hosted by the Shelburne Rebels on Nov. 29 to Dec. 1 at the Shelburne Regional High School.

Eight teams competed in the two-division, round robin tournament. In the senior boys’ division, the Shelburne Rebels hosted the West Kings Wolverines, Lockeport Greenwave and the Central Kings Gators. In senior girls’ play the Yarmouth Vikings, West Kings Wolverines and Oxford Golden Bears tipped off against the Rebels. There was no championship game in the tournament, only round-robin play.
