Gran Fondo Baie Sainte-Marie organizers promoting early registrations as Christmas presents
2019 Gran Fondo Baie event is Sept. 22
Nothing says Merry Christmas better than having someone register you for the 2019 Gran Fondo Baie Sainte-Marie cycling event.
At least that’s what the organizers of Clare’s popular cycling and cultural experience are hoping.
Registration is now open for the fifth edition of the Gran Fondo Baie Sainte-Marie, which is scheduled for Sunday, Sept. 22.
Five rides will be offered in 2019. New for 2019, a fifth ride to celebrate the event’s fifth anniversary: the 88.5-km Mezzo “middle” Fondo.
The Gran Fondo has quickly grown to become a “bucket list” experience for cyclists. Now the largest cycling event in Atlantic Canada, it drew 970 participants in 2018 from Nova Scotia and all over the world. Even more cyclists are expected to ride next time.
