Marcel Pothier, owner of Tusket Ford, turned off the lights in his giant car lot overnight so others can now see the stars. He did this after Tim Doucette, owner of the Deep Sky Eye Observator­y in Quinan, mentioned light pollution from the business. A century old building that once rang with the sounds of music, laughter and dancing has been reborn as a tiny house in Cape Forchu. Stan Muise, employed by All-Out Property Services, helps guide the Milton horse back into place after the statue was refurbishe­d last summer. Heads were turning along the Eastern seaboard during the Leeway Striker’s voyage home from Tampa to Halifax. With its distinctiv­e camouflage paint job and sleek profile, the 74-foot patrol boat generated lots of conversati­on, including in Yarmouth, where it docked for fuel and to clear customs on Aug. 26.
