Theft of 1,200 pounds of lob­ster in Queens County

Queens District RCMP was re­quest­ing pub­lic as­sis­tance in two re­cent thefts where a to­tal of 1,200 pounds of lob­ster was stolen. The thefts oc­curred in the early morn­ing of Dec. 23 and Jan. 1 from the lob­ster pounds on Long Cove Rd.

In the theft that oc­curred on Dec. 23, the sus­pect(s) may have used a small boat that was pulled up on shore near the pound.
