BRANSCOMBEBOYD, G. Doreen - 72, of Yar­mouth N.S. passed away on Jan­uary 2, 2019 at her home in Yar­mouth. Born in Yar­mouth on July 31, 1946 she was a daugh­ter to the late Peter Eli and Mary Ida (LeBlanc) Moulai­son. Doreen was a won­der­ful giv­ing mother, wife, and grand­mother who loved her fam­ily dearly. She loved the Lord and was a mem­ber of the Evan­gel Assem­bly Church in Yar­mouth. She read the Bi­ble and did so ev­ery morn­ing faith­fully and dur­ing Bi­ble study groups. In her work­ing years Doreen was a teacher’s aid and tu­tor as well as a di­eti­tian at the Yar­mouth Re­gional Hos­pi­tal. More im­por­tantly she was a home­maker who took great pride and joy in rais­ing her fam­ily. She is sur­vived by her lov­ing hus­band Jack Boyd; sons, Ger­ald (Michelle) Branscombe; Paul (Kim) Branscombe; daugh­ter, Kathy Branscombe (David Crosby); sis­ters, Rose Muise, Gla­dys Lit­tle; Clara (Vic­tor) De­veau; and grand­chil­dren, Sta­cie, Joshua, Kayne, Emily. Be­sides her par­ents Doreen was pre­de­ceased by her first hus­band, Al­bert Branscombe; brothers, Peter, Wil­liam and George. Fu­neral ar­range­ments were en­trusted to Sweeny’s Fu­neral Home and Cre­ma­to­rium, Yar­mouth. Visi­ta­tion took place, Sun­day, Jan­uary

6th, 2019 from 7-9 P.M. in Sweeny’s Fu­neral Home Chapel. A me­mo­rial ser­vice was held Mon­day, Jan­uary 7, 2019 at 2 P.M. from the Evan­gel Assem­bly Church lo­cated at 1 Myr­tle Street, Yar­mouth.
