Clark’s Har­bour levee kicks off 100th an­niver­sary cel­e­bra­tions

This year the Town of Clark’s Har­bour is cel­e­brat­ing the 100th an­niver­sary of the town’s in­cor­po­ra­tion in 2019, and the town started the fes­tiv­i­ties with a New Year’s Day levee at Branch #148 of the Royal Cana­dian Le­gion.

Peo­ple from through­out the area at­tended the event, which was a first for the town.

Mu­si­cal en­ter­tain­ment by Nova Sco­tia Coun­try Hall of Famer Jamie Cot­ter, spe­cial dis­plays, a slide show of pho­tos from days gone by, an an­niver­sary cake and other good­ies were part of the fes­tiv­i­ties. Town crier David Cleaver pro­claims 2019 will be a year of fes­tiv­i­ties in the Town of Clark’s Har­bour in cel­e­bra­tion of the 100th an­niver­sary of the in­cor­po­ra­tion of the town, at the New Year’s levee.
