Clark’s Harbour levee kicks off 100th anniversar­y celebratio­ns

This year the Town of Clark’s Harbour is celebratin­g the 100th anniversar­y of the town’s incorporat­ion in 2019, and the town started the festivitie­s with a New Year’s Day levee at Branch #148 of the Royal Canadian Legion.

People from throughout the area attended the event, which was a first for the town.

Musical entertainm­ent by Nova Scotia Country Hall of Famer Jamie Cotter, special displays, a slide show of photos from days gone by, an anniversar­y cake and other goodies were part of the festivitie­s. Town crier David Cleaver proclaims 2019 will be a year of festivitie­s in the Town of Clark’s Harbour in celebratio­n of the 100th anniversar­y of the incorporat­ion of the town, at the New Year’s levee.
